Alumina foam ceramic filters are made of high-purity aluminum oxide, with a uniform three-dimensional mesh opening structure, porosity of 75% -90%, low density and high mechanical strength, ensuring efficient fluid trafficability and load capacity.
Because of its low coefficient of thermal expansion and good dimensional stability at high temperature, alumina foam ceramic sheets can be used in fireplaces and stoves. And its high specific surface area and pore structure provide a uniform loading platform for the catalyst, making it an excellent catalyst carrier that can be coated with precious metals such as Pt, Pd, and Rh, significantly improving exhaust gas purification efficiency, reducing harmful gas emissions and meeting strict environmental standards.
Platinum (Pt): As a catalyst, it can effectively oxidize carbon monoxide (CO) and hydrocarbons (HC) into carbon dioxide (CO2) and water (H2O).
Palladium (Pd): mainly used in oxidation reactions, synergistically interacts with platinum to improve catalytic efficiency.
Rhodium (Rh): mainly used in reduction reactions to reduce nitrogen oxides (NOx) to nitrogen gas (N2).
