RTO honeycomb ceramic thermal regenerator is a ceramic honeycomb made of various new and efficient ceramic thermal storage materials for different process requirements in waste gas treatment (RT0, RCO). It has the advantages of large specific surface area, small resistance loss, low thermal expansion and contraction coefficient, high water absorption rate, good crack resistance and moderate micropore diameter.

It is very suitable for use as a thermal storage material in thermal storage incinerators and has been widely used in RTO, RCO equipment and tower fillers, contact combustion, and heat exchange systems for industrial waste gas treatment both domestically and internationally.

The thermal storage oxidation (RTO) system heats organic waste gas to above 760 ºC, causing VOCs in the waste gas to oxidize and decompose into CO2 and H2O in the oxidation chamber. The high-temperature gas generated by oxidation flows through a specially designed dense cordierite honeycomb ceramic thermal storage body, causing the dense cordierite honeycomb ceramic thermal storage body to heat up and "storage heat". This "storage heat" is used to preheat the subsequent organic waste gas, thereby saving fuel consumption that causes the waste gas to heat up. The thermal storage chamber undergoes a process of heat storage, heat release, and cleaning in sequence. After the "heat release" of the thermal storage chamber, a portion of the treated and qualified clean exhaust gas should be immediately introduced to clean the thermal storage chamber (to ensure a VOC removal rate of over 95%). Only after the cleaning is completed can the "thermal storage" program be entered.
