Our filter foam have a three-dimensional skeletal strand structure that minimizes the possibility of open channels and provides excellent filtration properties. Polyester foam is a flexible, open-cell type of polyurethane foam that is porous and has a uniform cell structure. It has an evenly spaced cell structure with a high proportion of closed cells or "windows" that reflect light. The large amount of windows makes polyester foam ideal for sealing as it naturally prohibits the flow of air. The uniform cell structure inherent in polyester foam also makes it ideal for the reticulation process. Polyester foam can be easily compressed, forming sheets with a fixed, desirable thickness. Additives introduced during manufacturing can transform the foam properties making it flame retardant, anti-microbial, anti-static, conductive and/or electrostatic dissipative (ESD). Felted polyester filter foam has a highly restrictive cell structure and is largely used for air and liquid filtration.
Filter sponge, also known as reticulated sponge, is a porous, low-density, reticulated flexible polyester/polyether urethane sponge. With an open cell structure and three dimensional skeletal strand structure.
The open cell sponge specifically manufactured for aquarium and pond use has a much larger inner surface areafor beneficial biological capacity than the cheap close cell sponge in the market. The reticulated structure also provides better flow rate of water

1.Ceramic filter production
Filter foam can be used for heat resistant porous reticular ceramics fired by reticular sponge, such as aluminum oxide foam ceramics, which can filter oxygen impurities during smelting and reduce casting defects.
2.Water treatment
Filter foam can be applied to water purification and sewage treatment in ponds, removing pollutants, harmful substances, and suspended solids, and improving water quality.
3.Filter for aquarium
Filter foam can be used in the biomechanical filtration system of aquariums to help remove waste, impurities, and harmful substances, maintain clean water quality, and provide beneficial bacterial growth in the water supply with biological attachment area.
