Tube settlers, also called lamella clarifiers, is a commonly used filler in water treatment engineering, mainly used in sedimentation tanks (such as inclined tube sedimentation tanks) or biological contact oxidation tanks and other structures. Its core function is to enhance solid-liquid separation efficiency by increasing the effective sedimentation area and improving water flow conditions.

Waterworks: Remove suspended solids, algae, etc. from raw water.
Wastewater treatment:
Primary sedimentation tank: Separate inorganic particles from wastewater.
Secondary sedimentation tank: solid-liquid separation of activated sludge or biofilm.
Industrial wastewater treatment: solid-liquid separation in industries such as papermaking, printing and dyeing, and food processing.
Rainwater treatment: intercepting sediment and impurities in rainwater.
Inclined tube features
1. Long wet weeks, small hydraulic radius.
2. The laminar flow is good and the sedimentation is not disturbed by flocculation.
3. When the pipe length is 1 meter, the payload is designed according to 3-5 tons/m2. V0 control in the 2.5-3.2 mm/2, the output water quality is good.
4. Use Inclined tube settler in the water intake, tube length of 2.0-3.0 meters, the 50-100kg/m3 sand content of high turbidity in the safe operation of treatment.
5. The process of capacity of inclined lamella clarifiers is 3-5 times of advection-type sedimentation and 2-3 times to accelerate the clarification pool and pulse clarification tank.
Straight tube features
1. The treatment efficiency is higher than the activated sludge method, the general hydraulic load : 100-200m3/m2 per day,
the orgainc load: 2000-5000 g/m3, so it reduced the occupied area.
2. Aeration strength is lower than the activated sludge method, and no sludge back, it can reduce the power consumption and simplify management.
3. Less sludge, reducing sludge dewatering and other post-processing workload.
4. The sludge generated by the settlement is good, conducive to remove suspended solids of end part.
5. Good adaptability, can adapt to a wide range of different water quality, have strong endurance of water quality to maintain a stable treatment effect.
