1. DOC catalytic converter

DOC is short of Diesel Oxidation Catalyst,material is cordierite or metal,the "through-hole" structure of honeycomb ceramics or metals, with all channels open and pore walls coated with platinum/palladium or other oxidation catalysts,reduce CO, HC, and some particulate matter (SOF) in exhaust gas through oxidation reaction

DOC has three main functions:

(1) Reduce HC (hydrocarbon) emissions: oxidize unburned HC and lubricating oil HC in exhaust gas to H2O and CO2;

(2) Oxidation of NO to NO2: NO2 oxidizes the carbon particles captured by DPF to gaseous CO2;

(3) Oxidation of fuel injected into the exhaust pipe: Oxidation of diesel releases heat, causing an increase in DPF temperature. Carbon and oxygen inside the DPF react to form CO2

2.DPF catalytic converter
DPF is short for Diesel Particulate Filter, is a type of wall flow honeycomb ceramic that commonly uses porous silicon carbide (SiC) or cordierite honeycomb bodies. Adjacent pores are open at one end and blocked at the other, forcing exhaust gas to pass through the wall. The wall flow structure forces particulate matter deposition, and the pore wall surface is coated with an oxidation catalyst to physically intercept and oxidize particulate matter (PM).
 

3.SCR catalytic converter
SCR is short for "Selective Catalytic Reduction", which is a ceramic carrier (such as cordierite) or metal carrier, a honeycomb ceramic with through holes, and a large geometric specific surface area; The surface is coated with vanadium based or copper/iron-based catalysts, and urea solution is sprayed into the exhaust pipe to hydrolyze into NH3. NH3 reduces NOx in the exhaust gas to non-toxic nitrogen N2 in SCR.
