MBBR bio filter media is a new high-tech patented product with a new type of microbes as carrier. According to the different kinds of sewage, Using scientific formula, it is formed from polymer material modification and restructuring through special process, which has same advantages of large specific surface, good hydrophilic property, strong.
Due to the turbulent movement of the bio filter media in suspension, the filter medium is Self-cleaning, requiring no maintenance. This allows the filter to reach optimum effectiveness without the disturbance of periodic maintenance, avoiding unnecessary loss of bacteria within the filter. This allows stable, low levels of ammonia and nitrite within the water.
 
Working principle
When the sewage passes through the carrier reactor, the microorganisms in the water constantly grow on the surface of the carrier and form biofilms.The carrier rotates freely under the turnover of the mixed liquid in the reactor, and the biofilm fully contacts with the pollutants in the water and decomposes them, so that the water quality can be purified.The stirring of the mixture and the movement of the carrier are realized by aerobic aeration or anaerobic stirring.
