Honeycomb activated carbon is a new type of environmentally friendly activated carbon waste gas purification product that can effectively reduce odors and pollutants, and meet the national first-class emission standards for waste gas. The main raw materials of this product are made of advanced coal based activated carbon powder, high iodine value coconut shell activated carbon powder, and ultra strong decolorized wooden activated carbon powder to form honeycomb shaped activated carbon. Therefore, it is called honeycomb shaped activated carbon and can be divided into waterproof and non waterproof honeycomb activated carbon based on its performance.

Application
Honeycomb activated carbon has strong catalytic properties. Honeycomb activated carbon is commonly used as a catalyst carrier in the chemical industry, where catalytic substances are deposited on the surface of honeycomb activated carbon blocks and used together as catalysts. At this time, the role of honeycomb activated carbon is not limited to loading activators, but it has a significant impact on the activity, selectivity, and service life of the catalyst. At the same time, it also has a catalytic effect. Therefore, honeycomb activated carbon exhibits catalytic activity in many adsorption processes accompanied by catalysis. For example, honeycomb activated carbon adsorbs sulfur and undergoes catalytic oxidation to form sulfur trioxide. The activated carbon block (16 pores/cm2) produced by processing activated carbon powder has a porous structure, a huge internal surface area, and excellent heat, acid, and alkali resistance, making it a good choice for catalyst carriers.
